Overview
The £150 million contract, known as the Programme to Rationalise and Integrate the DIS Estate, involves the construction of a new complex of buildings to house approximately 1100 Defence Intelligence employees in purpose built accommodation. This will form a hub for MOD intelligence collection capability and will enable the organisations to deliver more effective support to front line operations.
The new buildings will provide modern and flexible accommodation for the Headquarters Intelligence Collection Group, currently based in Feltham Middlesex, and sub units; the National Imagery Exploitation Centre (also known as JARIC), currently at RAF Brampton, and 42 Engineer Regiment (Geographic), currently based at Hermitage near Newbury and in Germany.
